Leadership Skills and Professional Enhancement Certificate
Description: The Leadership Skills and Professional Enhancement area will focus on building upon the basic experience learned through the foundations level. This level will allow participants to gain a stronger understanding of their current skills and how to utilize them. In addition, this level will allow participants to expand upon their current skill level as well as gain new proficiencies for effective application.
Requirements:
- Complete Personal Foundation of Leadership Certificate
- Attend five (5) Leadership Skills workshops
- Complete eight (8) hours of community engagement volunteer hours
Workshop examples: Facilitation, Goal Setting, Time Management, Effective Communication, Public Speaking, Ethical Decision Making, Diversity within ourselves and others, Professionalism in the Workplace, Group Dynamics, Dealing with Difficult Customers, Motivating Others, Assertive Communication, Conflict Resolution, Humor in the Workplace, Customer Services, and many more…
