Apply for the CSU/UADY Student Leadership Exchange 

1. Applications are due on February 22nd at noon. 
2. March 2013:  Mandatory UADY Program Orientation in Laurel Hall.
3. Spring 2013: Students from UADY will travel to Fort Collins for the Spring semester exchange.
4. Fall Break 2013: Students from CSU will travel to the Merida, Yucatan for a leadership, service and Spanish language experience, partnering with UADY students.
5. Spring 2014: Students from UADY will travel to Fort Collins for the return exchange.

• Engaging students in experiences of domestic and international diversity
• Exploring and applying the concepts of leadership and service to practical projects
• Strengthening Spanish language skills
• Meeting authentic community needs in Fort Collins and the Yucatan
• Creating a sustainable, long-term student exchange between CSU and UADY students

The CSU/UADY Exchange experience provided for me an incredible amount of memories, knowledge, and new relationships. I felt like this overwhelming experience expanded my mind to a diverse audience and environment in fun but essential ways. The excitement beginning from the group planning and preparation of the trip to the bonding activities with various students in Yucatan taught us things we cannot learn in a textbook. This was a fun, interactive, and self-developing experience I will remember for the rest of my life. - Galeth Bolanos

The CSU-UADY exchange profoundly changed my perceptions of not only the global influence of student leadership, but also the value of cross-cultural interaction. In addition to forging new friendships and professional connections, I have come to realize the possibilities of a professional life beyond my native country and I am now working to pursue international education and leadership experiences.
